The song is the sample featured in Otis by Jay-Z and Kanye West. The most recognizable parts of the song (thanks to the sample) do not appear until 2:44 and later at 3:25.

Listening to the record as a whole reminds me of how different music stylings were back in the day. There was so much build, anticipation, suspense, excitement and then release. Otis says don’t tease, but that’s precisely what his record does as a whole. 

By the time the song reaches the “got to, now-now-now” climax, my ears explode in euphoria. Then my hands raise up and shake as I attempt to sing along (and then rewind and sing along again).
