If you dive into the weeds a little bit on this global warming thing, you see that it seems that facts are certainly on Huntsman’s side on all of this and fact checkers have come out, and we’re actually having our own brain room look at this right now and any of Perry’s comments don’t seem to hold a lot of water.

- Did Fox just acknowledge the existence of climate change?
- What is a brain room?
- Did Fox just support Huntsman OVER Perry?
The Republican presidential candidates’ perspective on climate change:
“I think there are a substantial number of scientists who have manipulated data, so that they will have dollars rolling into their, to their projects.” Rick Perry
“I believe that all of these issues need to be settled on the basis of real science, not manufactured science.” Michele Bachmann
“I don’t believe global warming is real. Do we have climate change? Yes. Is it a crisis? No.” Herman Cain
“You know, the greatest hoax I think that has been around in many, many years if not hundreds of years has been this hoax on the environment and global warming.” Ron Paul
“I don’t speak for the scientific community, of course, but I believe the world’s getting warmer.” Mitt Romney
“I believe the earth gets warmer, and I also believe the earth gets cooler, and I think history points out that it does that and that the idea that man through the production of CO2 which is a trace gas in the atmosphere and the manmade part of that trace gas is itself a trace gas is somehow responsible for climate change is, I think, just patently absurd when you consider all of the other factors, El Nino, La Nina, sunspots, you know, moisture in the air.” Rick Santorum
Update:
“To be clear. I believe in evolution and trust scientists on global warming. Call me crazy.” Jon Huntsman
Research shows that conservative white males are the most likely to reject the scientific consensus on climate change.
The Guardian reports the demographic was more than twice as likely than other adults to say the media exaggerated seriousness of climate change.
I feel like there is a right wing, GOP, Fox News joke in here somewhere.
Was Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. behind Climategate?
Some are wondering if the embattled media tycoon was behind the scandal that derailed the Copenhagen climate negotiations.“News Corp. certainly has a history of defaming climate scientists and a penchant for hacking.”
