The First Official Trailer For ‘World War Z’
Considering all of the production problems that have plagued the film adaptation of ‘World War Z’ part of me was skeptical this film would actually happen. But here’s the first full-length trailer and it’s pretty damn intense. Here’s to keeping fingers-crossed that Marc Forster can bring a sem-faithful adaptation of Max Brook’s zombie pandemic novel to the big-screen.
‘World War Z’ stars Brad Pitt, Mirielle Enos, Bryan Cranston, Matthew Fox, James Badge Dale, Elyes Gabel and David Morse. It opens on June 21, 2013.
Wow. I still have my doubts about how the source material translates into this version but this looks intense. And they at least they took the time to update the BRRAAAWWRWRRMRMRMMM noise.
The movie previews before The Hunger Games.
I was surprised by the selection of trailers that aired before my screening of The Hunger Games. I really did expect more focus on the female fan base. The targeted audience (to me) read: Male, 26-34 yrs old, (most likely) gay…
Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 - Teaser, minimal subtext, lots of giggling from the female audience.
Dark Shadows - The Tim Burton/Johnny Depp show.
Snow White and the Huntsman - A good crowd teaser that appeals toward everyone: girls, gays, geeks and moms.
What To Expect When You’re Expecting - Geared towards a male audience with dads upfront and center. Hardly any mention of Elizabeth Banks (#fail) or pregnancy.
G.I. Joe:The Expendables, Part 3 - Crickets.
The Avengers - Fanboy excitement.
Prometheus - I doubt any girl in that audience has even seen Alien. (My favorite only because I wanted to see it on the big screen…)
