37 people to get cash payouts (including movie stars, footballers and politicians).
$1 million dollars among the first 18 settlements detailed on Thursday including:
- £130,000 pounds to Jude Law
- £50,000 pounds to Jude Law’s ex-wife
- £40,000 pounds to Jude Law’s assistant
- £35,000 pounds to Jude Law’s publicist
For anyone who has been following the News Corp. phone hacking scandal, Piers Morgan is testifying today and it’s getting quite interesting. Morgan wonders about the amount of privacy celebrities should be “entitled to,” since they “sell their privacy” for money and public gain.
Morgan said he would put the “genre of celebrity last” if he had to list those who were entitled to privacy.
