The “death” of the HP TouchPad

READ: A PR scheme to get consumers to buy an underperforming product

The Washington Post reports that the firesale of the now defunct HP Touchpad, which was sold for $99 a piece, was such at hit that company is producing “one last run of the tablet.”

HP even “said that it is considering bring the gadget back at some point in the future.”

I’m not sure what grinds my gears more - the fact that this turned out to be a public relations tactic to move product OR that we may have to suffer from even more Lea Michele TV commercials.
