Fifty Shades Of Ugh. According to the Daily Mail, the first installment of the sex-obsessed trilogy is the fastest selling paperback of all time. It now leads Harry Potter and Da Vinci Code. Last week the book sold more than 100,000 paperback copies and “has been Britain’s best-selling book for nine weeks, while the trilogy has held the top three spots on the UK paperback book chart for the past six weeks.” And if the success continues, we will see more erotic fiction hit the shelves soon, including Jane Eyre Laid Bare, “an explicit rewrite of Charlotte Bronte’s novel.”
