The year of Adele may turn into the two years (or reign) of Adele. She scored her 24th week atop of the Billboard 200 with 21 putting her 6th in line (behind Michael Jackson and Fleetwood Mac among others) for the longest run at no. 1. Other album notes, according to Billboard: “21 has never left the top 10 in its entire 68-week chart run.” It is 2012’s best-selling album in the U.S. selling 3.52 million this year. In the U.S. alone, 21 has sold 9.34 million copies, “making it the 24th biggest seller in America.”
